My name is Lindsay Friesen. When I was 10 years old I got a crayola camera that used 110 film for christmas. I picked it up and never put it down. When I entered High School I couldn't wait for Grade 11 so I could sign up for the photography program. On top of having a great teacher, and learning almost everything about photography, we learnt how to roll our own film, develope our film, and make prints on enlargers. Half way throught the Grade 11 school year I purchased my first automatic/manual Camera a Pentax MZ-7. I was so excited I took it everywhere with me. By the time that Photography 12 was over I had learned so much and already had two weddings under my belt. I have been blessed with being able to live in the Okanagan the scenary is beautiful. I am an avid photographer who photographs weddings, wildlife, portraits, reunions and your special event.
I was taught something very special from my photography teacher. When I graduated he told me, " Dont hurry things. Enjoy the getting there as much (or maybe more) than the arrival." I learned to be patient one of the most valuable techniques while photographing.
